In celebration for 10th anniversary of launch, a remastered version of 2011 action role-playing game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim by developer/publisher Bethesda Softworks was released for cross-generation platforms on November 2021.
Only a few months ago, a rating for Nintendo Switch version of Skyrim Anniversary Edition was spotted at Taiwanese rating board website. A second rating for Switch console has been found listed on official website for PEGI rating system.
Newly discovered listing for Skyrim: Anniversary Edition apparently has a date set for Nintendo Switch release on August 31, 2022. For obvious reasons, it could be a placeholder listing for any upcoming announcement in future or a mistake.
Anniversary Edition adds a copy of Skyrim: Special Edition, collecting Dawnguard, Hearthfire as well as Dragonborn expansions. It also includes Creation Club mods, Fishing, Survival mode and new content, gameplay elements and lots more.
Skyrim is fifth mainline entry in The Elder Scrolls franchise that won more than 200 awards and sold over 30 million copies by November 2016. A follow-up sequel, The Elder Scrolls VI is in pre- production for a while and in design phase now.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition could be revealed at a rumored Nintendo Direct presentation later this month. Nintendo may also announce Switch version of Biomutant along with variety of other Switch ports in September.
