Resident Evil 4 Remake Also Coming to PlayStation 4
Capcom confirms developing a PlayStation 4 version for upcoming Resident Evil 4 Remake at Tokyo Game Show 2022.

Just days ahead of Tokyo Game Show 2022 event, developer/publisher Capcom announces to bring cloud version of Resident Evil 2, 3 Remake and 7 to Nintendo Switch handheld consoles later this year, including Resident Evil: Village.
Capcom recently hosted a livestream for Tokyo Game Show 2022 and revealed new gameplay for Shadows of Rose DLC story. Capcom also announced to release a PlayStation 4 version for upcoming anticipated Resident Evil 4 Remake.
In a latest trailer, Resident Evil 4 Remake producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi confirms that Capcom is currently developing a PlayStation 4 version for RE4 as well, alongside previously announced PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
Hirabayashi promises to share more update on RE4 Remake during next month's Resident Evil Showcase event but didn't reveal a date yet. Other than PC and cross-generation consoles by Sony, support for PlayStation VR2 will be added.
Capcom recently announces to launch a Mac version of Resident Evil: Village in 2022, which is compatible with Macs with M1 or M2 chips. Winters' Expansion DLC is also planned for Switch console version and a demo is already out now.
Resident Evil 4 Remake was announced during Sony's State of Play livestream back in June and is set to release on March 24, 2023. Kept under wraps for long, a remake for RE4 was reported in 2020 and leaked via a data breach at Capcom.
