A modern remake of 2013 original, action-adventure survival horror game The Last of Us Part I by developer Naughty Dog and publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment is out now, exclusively on PlayStation 5 consoles and also coming to PC.
In a post-apocalyptic world, loner Joel is hired to escort 14-year-old Ellie to a designed location of United States. Together they fend off many bandits and infected people on their way to find a settlement for rebel militia group called Firefly.

Part I retells original The Last of Us single-player story and includes its downloadable expansion pack Left Behind. Serving as a prequel chapter, it explores previous events that ties to Ellie and her best friend Riley, changing their lives forever.
Rather than a generic remaster, Part I is completely rebuilt for PS5 using latest technology with advanced visual fidelity. Since it's a remake of original The Last of Us single-player story, players won't have access to multiplayer mode, Factions.

Naughty Dog decided to bring a definitive version of acclaimed 2013 game to life with improved gameplay mechanics and upgraded graphics consistent with its follow-up sequel, The Last of Us Part II and built it as a new game from ground up.
Instead of pre-scripted sequences of PlayStation 3 original, there are more dynamic encounters due to overhauled combat system. Each character animations and behaviors are improved for a deep, immersive survival experience to everyone.

Naughty Dog rolls out an official launch trailer to celebrate worldwide release of The Last of Us Part I on PS5.
Grounded was one of the downloadable content for TLoU, adding a new difficulty and is already available on your first playthrough. Part I can run at targeted 30 FPS in native 4K resolution and at 60 FPS with dynamic 4K in performance mode.
The Last of Us Part I introduces major accessibility features of The Last of Us 2 for blind, deaf or players with some disabilities. Naughty Dog included audio descriptions for cinematic as well as options to play dialogue through haptic feedback.
