Earlier in June, a re-imagined Necromancer class for upcoming action role-playing game Diablo IV by developer/publisher Blizzard Entertainment was revealed during Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase 2022 livestream event in a new trailer.
A few days ago, Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier claimed that Diablo 4 Alpha Test was getting positive feedback internally. Before a public testing could go live soon in near future, gameplay footage and screenshots has been leaked online.
Originally shared on Twitter, leaked gameplay and images were quickly removed but not before they were posted elsewhere. Later on, a 30-second long video clip was eventually uploaded to cloud-based instant messaging website Telegram.
Starting with opening menu, gameplay leak offers a brief glimpse at character customization of Barbarian class and range of combinations. Diablo fans can also take a quick look at its difficulty selection and game creation screens in this video.

Considering alpha footage is watermarked, Blizzard team can easily find out who posted these in-game look. There are also tutorial options for new players to opt in for more or less guidance and full creation suite is likely to be revealed later.
Diablo IV is expected to arrive next year for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S platforms. Blizzard has yet to confirm a definitive release date for D4 and may reveal it in coming months after hosting Open Beta test.
