During its official reveal, a PC version of 2019 action strand game Death Stranding by developer Kojima Productions and publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment was accidentally leaked via a now-deleted Medium Q&A post back in 2015.
Only a month ahead of its PlayStation 4 debut, PC version was confirmed by dev team with 505 Games serving as publisher. Just days after recent tease, Death Stranding is finally coming to PC Game Pass on August 23, 5 AM PDT/8 AM EDT.
Hideo Kojima fans can experience this genre-defining game starring actor Norman Reedus (The Boondock Saints, The Walking Dead), Mads Mikkelsen (Hannibal, Polar) and Troy Baker (Mortal Kombat X, Resident Evil 6) on PC via Game Pass.
PC Game Pass edition of Death Stranding comes with a number of unlockable items like Ludens mask, armor plates, power skeleton and more. Although late to the party, PC gamers can catch up to Half-Life collaboration crossover content.
Players can also enjoy high frame rate, photo mode, ultra-wide support and variety of other PC specific features. PC Game Pass version of Death Stranding will have (Windows) achievements, as reported by tracking site True Achievements.
Death Stranding takes place in a post-apocalyptic future, where mysterious supernatural events have changed the world. To save mankind, protagonist Sam Porter Bridges must traverse across dangerous terrain of a wasteland to bring hope.
