Going through an extensive overhaul lately, PlayStation Plus has now become PS Plus Essential and members would still get their monthly free games on scheduled time for no additional cost across PlayStation 4 and 5 console systems.
PS Plus free games are getting leaked ahead of announcement for about a year now and latest report has allegedly revealed freebies for July 2022 before Sony Interactive Entertainment gets to officially announce them later this week.
According to a report on a reputable French community site Dealabs, Sony will soon be adding 2020 platformer Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time from developer Toys for Bob and publisher Activision for PS4 and PS5 early next month.
Also joining along is 2021 cooperative multiplayer game Arcadegeddon by developer/publisher IllFonic on both PS4 and PS5. Introduced as an Early Access game, IllFonic's loot-based shooter received a full release and coming to PS Plus.
Players on PS4 consoles can look forward to enjoy 2019 interactive drama survival horror Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan from developer Supermassive Games and publisher Bandai Namco, which is also available for next-gen.
Dealabs maintains a very impressive track record of leaking reliable information on PlayStation Plus freebies. They successfully leaked God of War (2018), Naruto to Boruto and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl for ongoing slate of June 2022.
