Halo Infinite Campaign Co-Op Beta Release Date |
Although launched without co-op campaign mode, 2021 first-person shooter game Halo Infinite by developer 343 Industries and publisher Xbox Game Studios is finally getting its most-awaited feature added to main game in coming months.
After being delayed several times, 343 Industries announces a beta preview for long-anticipated campaign co-op mode. Players who already bought the base game and members of Xbox Game Pass can join from July 11 through July 22, 2022.
Those who want to take part should sign up for Xbox Insider Program for having access to co-op beta before July 5, 2022. All you need is to download Halo Infinite campaign build and start new playthrough since no progress gets carried over.
Also, beta progress will not be transferred to main version and it will only be applicable for beta but players won't require a separate co-op save when co-op mode feature releases fully and co- op progress will be same for all players involved.
Players joining a Fireteam in co-op beta would retain any achievements, collectibles, equipment and upgrades to save slots. Progress will be aggregated and any mission completed by Fireteam members will be considered as complete for all.
Halo Infinite campaign co-op mode has no official launch date yet but is expected to arrive later this year, according to Season 2 roadmap. 343 Industries will fully support cross-play via xCloud and mission replay becomes available in August.
