At annual day celebration event for Assassin's Creed franchise, developer/publisher Ubisoft has announced to release a performance update for 2017 action role-playing game Assassin's Creed Origins across next-gen console in December.
A newest PlayStation Network database leak has revealed a possible launch date for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S console version of AC Origins, which adds higher frame rate and goes live starting from June 2, 5:00 AM PT/8:00 AM ET.
Newly launched performance update lets you enjoy AC Origins at 60 FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S systems. It also introduces Franchise Store menu, taking 8.2 GB download for PC, 2.9 GB for PlayStation 4 and 3 GB on Xbox One versions.
Assassin's Creed Origins Title Update 1.6.0 won't offer any visual upgrades other than FPS boost and Franchise menu. Assassin's Creed Odyssey also received a similar update last year that adds support for 60 FPS gameplay on new console.
Latest patch is likely to include faster load times on newer-gen console generations due to their hardware capability. AC Origins will soon become available on Xbox Game Pass later next week for cloud, console and Windows PC on June 7.
Assassin's Creed Origins is probably one of the best entries in modern-day Assassin's Creed saga and though players can explore an open-world Egypt at 60 frames-per-second now, they would really appreciate getting native 4K resolution.
