Rockstar Games Will Reportedly Announce New Project Soon |
Over past few years, video game developer/publisher company Rockstar Games has been busy developing new content update for Grand Theft Auto Online and releasing critically-acclaimed Red Dead Redemption 2 for all known platforms.
A recent report by an insider claims that Rockstar Games is getting ready to announce a brand-new project soon, leading fans to speculate for a remaster of original Red Dead Redemption or a new-gen upgrade for Red Dead Redemption 2.
According to French journalist Chris Klippel, a major announcement from Rockstar Games will be coming very soon. Although he couldn't confirm an exact time of reveal or what it is about, he simply called it to be "a new project" for now.
While fans would love to hear some news regarding Grand Theft Auto VI in coming months, he kept it rather vague. Therefore, people are speculating about a long-rumored remaster of Red Dead Redemption or new-gen upgrade for RDR2.
Industry insider Chris Klippel confirms new announcement coming soon from Rockstar Games on Twitter.
Visiblement, une annonce se prépare. Je ne sais pas encore quand, ni ce que cela va concerner, mais ce serait « un nouveau projet ». Cela peut arriver relativement vite. 🙂 pic.twitter.com/Gr0Sgxzdua

Fans are also wondering whether a long-anticipated Bully 2 or sequel to Manhunt 2 will finally be revealed. Grand Theft Auto IV remastered bundle was previously rumored for 2023 release and then, Take-Two takes down all GTA IV mods.
Since nothing has officially been confirmed by Rockstar Games yet, people are advised to take any of these rumors with a grain of salt. It took Rockstar many years to admit they are working on a new GTA game earlier after years of rumor.
Even if they don't talk about GTA 6 for now, Rockstar Games announcing a new project makes everyone excited regardless. People who already spent many hours playing GTA Online or RDR 2 would surely love to explore their upcoming IP.
Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer may be revealed by Rockstar Games sooner than expected, which is likely to release in March 2024. Insiders claim GTA 6 will features four cities with 500 hours of content and is built on a new proprietary engine.
