If latest rumors are accurate, then a long-awaited multiplayer mode for 2020 action-adventure survival horror The Last of Us Part II by developer Naughty Dog and publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment is getting entirely overhauled.
Nearly two years after its release, a dataminer has recently found a dance sequence in The Last of Us Part 2 that was once playable. Moreover, there is an unused Ellie model from a boar hunt scene that never really made it to final game.
YouTuber Speclizer brings up an interview between Naughty Dog co-president Neil Druckmann and voice actor Troy Baker regarding a boar scene before revealing an "unused boar hunt Ellie model" through a dance sequence with Dina.
Speclizer cuts into a comparison video of Ellie's final design and boar hunt model, where she is talking with Jesse as Dina dances afar. Ellie is seen wearing a fully buttoned shirt of a different print design without her short hair tied back.

The Last of Us 2 revealed a dance scene between Ellie and Dina, which debuted along with first gameplay trailer in E3 2018. Fans originally thought, this dance sequence was early in the game but actually fount it halfway through the plot.
Speclizer finds a prototype version of Jackson that includes a playable dance sequence but was scrapped later on. There was an alley that was blocked and Ellie had to go through a building to reach to main street but it end up getting cut.
Speclizer uploaded a video on YouTube highlighting an unused dance sequence and boar hunt Ellie model.
Naughty Dog previously talked about several cut content including a journal entry of Ellie killing a boar and they even shot a cut-scene. Neil Druckmann detailed that sequence of her hinting as she was struggling with her liking to violence.
The Last of Us is reportedly being remade exclusively for PlayStation 5 consoles, which features a new Factions multiplayer mode. Sony and Naughty Dog remains silent about these rumors but it was accidentally leaked by studio QA tester.
