After a ransomware attack, Japanese video game developer/publisher Capcom suffered a major data breach and upcoming lineup of games were leaked, including Dragon's Dogma 2, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Street Fighter 6 and many more.
Capcom launched a teaser website earlier and took Presidents' Day to announce Street Fighter 6 on February 20, 2022. Today, they launched a new website dedicated to their fan-favorite IP, a day after 10th anniversary of Dragon's Dogma.
In a latest social media post, Capcom addressed long-time franchise fans and thanked them for continued support. As they invite everyone to join for 10th anniversary celebration, players are hopeful to have a sequel announcement shortly.
Dragon's Dogma website features a brief message from director Hideaki Itsuno and a "History" section highlighting a timeline of events. Capcom usually launches new website for their games before a big reveal, leading to major expectation.

Other than Capcom data breach in 2020, Dragon's Dogma 2 was listed in a recent leak at Nvidia GeForce Now database last year. DD2 is seemingly scheduled for Q2 2022 release window and some of those leaked games are already out now.
During an investor relations Q&A earlier, Capcom has hinted at plans to revive some of their IPs for modern-day audience. As they largely focus on Resident Evil games, other known franchises like Lost Planet and Okami can't get a new game.
Capcom claims that going forward, they are readying a pipeline of games based on fan-demand and market data. Despite claiming to take customers' wishes into consideration, they continue to ignore fan-pleas for Dino Crisis revival till date.
Dragon's Dogma originally made its debut with favorable reviews across PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on May 22, 2012. An enhanced version, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen was released later on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
