After months of "Project Spartacus" rumors, Sony confirmed their plans to combine PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now into one online service across three tiers of membership; PlayStation Plus Essentials, Extra and Premium in May 2022.
Ahead of official launch next week, Sony is offering a quick recap of what members are getting from an all-new PlayStation Plus subscription service across three tiers, monthly titles and other incentives that are currently planned for future.

All three tiers of services will receive the same benefits that PlayStation Plus members currently enjoy already. Sony will update their monthly freebie lineup for PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles by adding new games each month on first Tuesday.
Subscribers of PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers will get access to first-party PlayStation Studios-exclusive games like Bloodborne, Days Gone, Demon's Souls, Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut, God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn and much more.
Third-party games catalog will include Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Batman: Arkham Knight, Cities: Skylines, Control: Ultimate Edition, Dead Cells, Far Cry 3, Hollow Knight, Mortal Kombat 11, NBA 2K22, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Resident Evil.
Premium members can enjoy a library of over 700 classic games on PS4 and PS5, depending on availability on their region. There are time-limited game trials for members to try it out for two hours in-game before they decide to purchase it.

French video game developer/publisher Ubisoft also announced to bring their Ubisoft+ Classics library to PS Plus, adding Assassin's Creed, Far Cry 3, 4, For Honor, The Crew 2 and Tom Clancy's The Division to Extra and Premium tier members.
PlayStation Plus subscription service overhaul begins with Asia on May 24 and Japan on June 2, 2022. North and South America joins on June 13, before Australia, Europe and New Zealand will eventually get on board next month, on June 23.
