PlayStation Job Listing Hints at More PC Release

Contrary to what naysayers and fan-boys claimed in past, video game publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment ended up releasing some their first-party exclusives like Days Gone, Horizon Zero Dawn and more recently, God of War on PC.

A bunch of fan-favorite PlayStation console exclusives were launched for PC in recent years and a newest job posting on official website clearly suggests that Sony is looking forward to release more exclusive games on PC in coming years.

According to a latest job listing, PlayStation is currently looking for a senior director for planning and strategy of PC releases. Sony wants to hire someone living in San Mateo, California who can work on strategies to improve global PC sales.

Seeing their older games performing much better on PC platform than originally expected, Sony decided to increase their operation earlier. Sony has formed a new publishing label, PlayStation PC in 2021 that handles PC port development.

God of War director Cory Barlog previously revealed that internal dev studios have pushed Sony to PC market. During a GQ interview last year, SIE CEO Jim Ryan has promised to bring "a whole slate" of PlayStation titles to PC for all players.

Sony might still try to have some sort of timed exclusivity for their first-party PlayStation games before they arrive on PC. In future, fans would surely love to see long-rumored Bloodborne port or Marvel's Spider-Man finally releasing on PC.
