Earlier last week, a datamine leak possibly hinted at a new online Battle Royale mode for 2021 first-person shooter Halo Infinite by developer 343 Industries and publisher Xbox Game Studios, which is called "BTB: Last Spartan Standing".
Following a promising launch, Season 1 was extended to May 2022 with limited event and new slayer playlists. Today, 343 Industries and Xbox Studios finally confirms Halo Infinite multiplayer Season 2 will launching soon on May 3, 2022.

Season 2 titled "Lone Wolves" will introduce fresh content for multiplayer, including new maps, modes, limited-time events and more. It features an all-new Battle Pass system that never gets expired, according to Halo Infinite dev team.
Season 2 of Halo Infinite is likely to add Arena map Catalyst and Big Team Battle map Breaker at release. Last Spartan Standing mode will be making an entry with an updated version of King of the Hill and new multiplayer mode Land Grab.
343 Industries promises to have more customization for Season 2 free Battle Pass track than in previous Season. They even shared concept art for two Lone Wolves armor sets, Spartan Sigrid Eklund and Hiseu Dinh in Halo Waypoint blog.
Halo Infinite campaign co-operative mode was originally delayed to Season 2 but apparently, it may take longer than expected. 343 and Xbox Studios didn't offer an exact release date for co-op and Forge mode, which gets delayed again.
