Halo Infinite Season 2 Roadmap Revealed

Shortly after delaying campaign co-op and Forge mode for 2021 first-person shooter game Halo Infinite by developer 343 Industries and publisher Xbox Game Studios once again, an early leak suggested at a potential Battle Royale mode.

Earlier this month, 343 Industries announces a launch date for upcoming Halo Infinite Season 2: Lone Wolves, which is less than weeks away and shared a content roadmap recently for newest Season and possibly for rest of ongoing year.

Season 2 roadmap for Halo Infinite reveals campaign co-op release window has been moved to August 2022. However, 343 dev team didn't reveal a definitive date and fans are speculating for another six months-long Season of contents.

Certain items and dates are clearly mentioned, whereas others are listed as "goals" or "targets" in latest roadmap. Season 2 will addressing issues regarding player experience, as they continue to work on co-op, Forge mode and Season 3.

Halo Infinite Season 2 will bring back fan-favorite multiplayer mode King of The Hill with a little variation. Land Grab is about players capturing neutral zones to earn point for their teams and new zones will spawn until you get 11 points.

Last Spartan Standing is a new twist at Battle Royale mode, where Lone Wolves will spawn and fight on Big Team Battle maps. Each player will have a confined loadout and only five respwans to begin with until there is only one standing.

343 Industries releases a new Season 2 preview video highlighting upcoming modes coming to Halo Infinite.

Other than prioritizing employee health, 343 Industries is aiming to deliver Forge mode to fans, so that community maps and mode can be added to game, currently targeting Forge open beta on large scale for September 2022/Season 2.

343 Industries is extending next season to fully address all quality of life improvement issues of last season. They also outlined some core Season 3 contents including new 100 tier Battle Pass, maps, mode, sandbox items and much more.
