Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.1 Release Date |
Following Endwalker expansion release, 2013 massively multiplayer online role-playing game Final Fantasy XIV by developer/publisher Square Enix saw a massive growth in player number, which eventually lead to server login issues.
After recently expanding server numbers, Square Enix has resumed FFXIV free trials and sales once again. Dev team also announces to release a host of new quests and raids via upcoming patch 6.1, arriving shortly on April 12, 2022.
Square Enix also releases a new trailer teasing newly added dungeons, quests and more to Final Fantasy XIV.
Patch 6.1 will introduce new main scenario quests "Newfound Adventure", which serves as a follow-up to FFXIV: Endwalker. There will be 24-player Alliance Raid, new tribal quest, trial as well as hit TV series Garo-inspired PvP gear.
Moreover, solo players will be able to experience A Realm Reborn story by summoning NPCs using "Duty Support" system. Square Enix plans to include NPC allies for other expansions, so you can play alone without creating a party.
Shadowbringers expansion previously allowed players to recruit NPCs to complete dungeons, using Trust system. However, many fans have argued that dungeons became more lackluster this way, unless they were playing as a tank.
Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker is latest expansion in A Realm Reborn legacy, concluding a long-running storyline to begin anew. Patch 6.1 also brings new ultimate duty Dragonson's Reprise and new residential area called, Empyreum.
