It was never really a surprise for 2022 action role-playing game Elden Ring by developer From Software and publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment becoming a major blockbuster-hit and a worthy successor to Souls-like genre of games.
Ever since release, PC modders have been creating new mods for Elden Ring that would either let you pause the game or summon Bosses. A recent fan-made mod however, actually lets you to respawn a bit faster when you end up dying.
Newly released Faster Respawn mod at Nexus Mods by modder xxdarki will reduce load times after death. It simply removes elapsed time between when a player dies and respawn in-game, cutting it down by about three to four seconds.
A user on Nexus Mods also reported that Faster Respawn mod decreases loading times during fast travel between sites of Grace. It will also decrease loading Elden Ring from main menu or simply quitting and for various other occasions.
Faster Respawn mod can only be used for PC version of Elden Ring in offline mode or disabling Easy Anti-Cheat. Interested players would have to make some minor changes to regulation.bin file within game folder and re-launch the game.
Elden Ring players are enthusiastically scouring through open-world of Lands Between, to find new Easter eggs, hidden items and lore. Many are trying to beat the entire game under lowest possible time to set new speedrunning records.
