WarnerMedia merger with Discovery gives company total control over Warner Bros. Games as they plan ahead for a future roadmap. WB Games currently have four projects in development and one is scheduled for October 25, 2022 release.
DC gaming projects like Gotham Knights, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, The Wolf Among Us 2 and Wonder Woman are in works. Gotham Knights is coming later this year, Suicide Squad was delayed earlier to spring 2023 launch window.
Discovery wants to revive DC's legacy characters like Superman and is looking for a Kevin Feige-like figure to oversee these operations. DC films are in second place at box office after Marvel Cinematic Universe but in gaming, it's a close fight.
