During early troublesome era of Star Wars games, 2019 action-adventure game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order by developer Respawn Entertainment and publisher Electronic Arts became a huge success and a sequel seemed almost inevitable.
Respawn has officially confirmed working on three new Star Wars games, including Jedi: Fallen Order sequel earlier in January and insider reports claim that fans may have a change to get a first-look at Cal Kestis' newest adventure soon.
According to industry insider Jeff Grubb, sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order may be revealed in coming days. He also added that EA may end up revealing further information during annual Star Wars Celebration event later in May 2022.
In latest episode of YouTube gaming show Game Mess, he has briefly talked about Fallen Order sequel while interacting with audience. Grubb suggests that it could release on early 2023 and there are also chances for a launch in late 2022.
Previous rumor hints at young Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis heading over to a much darker path, like The Empire Strikes Back or The Last Jedi. However, official sources have yet to confirm whether this fan-theory for sequel have any weight at all.
EA or Respawn didn't reveal anything regarding Jedi: Fallen Order sequel yet, leaving everyone speculating in anticipation. Many fans are theorizing that it could tie-into upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series at Disney+ streaming platform.
