Following a month of rumor for a new livestream, Sony Interactive Entertainment has recently announced a new episode of their next State of Play digital broadcast this month, to showcase upcoming new games for PlayStation consoles.
In today's episode, Sony unveils a lineup of third-party games from known Japanese publishers that are coming to PlayStation 4 and 5 very soon, currently scheduled to stream at Twitch and YouTube on March 9, 2:00 PM PT/5:00 PM ET.
Sony premiered a 20-minute long State of Play livestream, focusing on latest gameplay reveals and lots more.
Exoprimal | Announced
Although fans would love to see a Dino Crisis series revival, developer/publisher Capcom made plans to reveal upcoming team-based action game Exoprimal, a brand-new IP featuring online co-op, coming next year on PlayStation 4 and 5.
In a near future of 2043, mysterious portals start opening up and bringing swarms of dinosaurs onto our world. Exofighters takes up arms to take down these prehistoric beasts as teams while trying to save humanity from certain extinction.

GhostWire: Tokyo | Launch Trailer
Earlier in January, a release date for upcoming first-person supernatural adventure GhostWire: Tokyo was leaked via product listing on PlayStation Store and today, Sony confirms a March 25, 2022 official launch date at State of Play event.
Standard and Deluxe Edition will include Hannya outfit and PS5-exclusive Premium Biker outfit pack as pre-order bonus. PlayStation Plus members can enjoy three-day Early Access to unlock GhostWire: Tokyo digital version before launch.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin | New Demo
Shortly before latest State of Play broadcast went live, new demo for 2022 action role-playing game Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin by developer Koei Tecmo and publisher Square Enix was leaked on PlayStation Network today.
With only a week away from launch, Square Enix announces a second demo on PS4 and 5 for a limited trail of SOPFFO. Series fans can also give it a try alone or with up to three friends in co- op, since all your save data will be carried over.

Forspoken | Gameplay Trailer
Originally revealed as "Project Athia", upcoming action role-playing game Forspoken is a story of a young New York girl who gets transported to a fantasy world under the tyranny of Tantas, releasing for PlayStation 5 on October 11, 2022.
Square Enix also releases a new gameplay footage, showcasing magical powers of protagonist Frey and her terrain traversal abilities. Among many of vile creatures of Athia, she encounters giant ogre, mighty Dragon and many other foes.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Cowabunga Collection | Announced
After a massive success of Castlevania and Contra Anniversary Collection, developer/publisher Konami decides to team up with Nickelodeon and Digital Eclipse to bring Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Cowabunga Collection for PS4 and PS5.
An extensive retro game bundle, Cowabunga Collection includes Arcade-era TMNT games for modern-day consoles. Konami's classic heroes in half-shell will be available in a single package for a price of $39.99 only, coming later this year.

State of Play broadcast has largely focused on a lineup of third-party titles coming to PS4 and 5 consoles. Sony didn't share any update regarding next-generation PlayStation VR2 hardware as they previously confirmed before today's show.
Despite strong rumors, Sony also didn't showcased new gameplay for God of War: Ragnarök or Hogwarts Legacy. Players were also hoping to see Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2 or upcoming FFXVI but Square seemingly had other priorities.
