The Last Blade 2 Physical Edition Announced for PlayStation 4 |
Originally debuted on arcade systems, weapon-based fighting game series The Last Blade was introduced as a spiritual successor to Samurai Shodown series in late 90's and only released a sequel, which was ported to PC and consoles.
A few years after its arrival on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Steam, developer/publisher SNK recently announces to launch three physical editions of The Last Blade 2, in collaboration with Pix'n Love Games, arriving on June 2022.
The Last Blade 2 will be made available in Standard, Collector's and Deluxe editions at release with pre-order starting from March 23, 2022. Standard Edition features a region free disc in a poly-box and currently limited to 3000 copies.
Collector's Edition comes with a physical disc, an 80-page art-book and original Neo Geo snap case with a reversible cover. Exclusive to Pix'n Love Games online store and numbered to only 1000 copies, it also includes a soundtracks CD.
Deluxe Edition will be limited to 100 copies only, bundled with PS4 game disc, signed art print, official snap case, lithographs and soundtrack. Each package offers a special price to fans who pre-order now at Pix'n Games official website.
Even though The Last Blade 2 didn't became a breakthrough franchise like Fatal Fury, The King of Fighters or Metal Slug, it was praised by critics and received a small, yet dedicated group of fan-following ever since Neo Geo arcade days.
