In late 1800s, you are attending class at Hogwarts by joining on fifth year as a new student to forge your own legacy. You can begin with character creation to customize a Wizard or Witch avatar ahead of stepping into Wizarding World.

Hogwarts is a home for ancient magic, which player character will be able to sense and maybe even control it. Much like Harry Potter, you are already a known celebrity there while you study to learn magic, make new friends and be a hero.

Your study at Hogwarts begins with charms, defense against dark arts and portions before you get into dueling with other students. During off-time between classes, players can explore and discover dungeons, secret chambers or puzzles.

Harry Potter series fans might recognize a few faces walking into the castle grounds or in class to take various side assignments. As you work together with Professor Eleazar Fig to unravel a dangerous mystery, your lessons will be tested.

Avalanche dev team has created a fully explorable Hogwarts with many mysteries and secrets scattered around its surrounding. Other than many familiar areas like Great Hall or clocktower, you will find a few new locations across its map.

You will discover magical beasts to deploy in a fight and use a broomstick for fast travel across in-game world. Take a tour to Hogwarts' nearby village of Hogsmeade to get gear and magical supplies, which are required during your journey.

Learning a variety of charms and having mastery over spells will make you adept in combat to win against foes with different abilities. Also, tap into mysterious force to take down stronger enemies or mix and match to redefine your style.

Hogwarts Legacy confirms to have no micro-transactions and gameplay progression is likely to be tied to some sort of skill levels. Having no premium currency purchases is a rejoice for fans who are unable or unwilling to spend extra cash.
