A recent playtest for Gotham Knights has surfaced online and spotted on SteamDB, suggesting developer WB Games Montréal and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive may eventually launch their latest DC Comics project in coming months.
According to site history, Gotham Knights playtest briefly appeared on its SteamDB page with updated app data, which clearly indicates that Warner Bros. Games is currently testing a beta version for PC on Steam platform before release.
Newly found playtest listing for Gotham Knight was deleted from SteamDB shortly afterwards but app history is visible to everyone. Even though titular app is marked as "hidden to public", you can still inspect every available data anyway.

Recently leaked SteamDB playtest doesn't necessarily mean that Gotham Knights is launching anytime soon. However, it perfectly aligns with early rumors of an April 2022 release window, riding on worldwide debut of The Batman movie.
Gotham Knights being beta tested on Steam now by developers probably means fans are likely to get another look at the game soon. Meanwhile, Warner Bros. Games may confirm a release date for players to explore the streets of Gotham.
