Earlier this year, 2020 action-adventure game Ghost of Tsushima by developer Sucker Punch Productions and publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment celebrated reaching a major sales milestone of shipping over 8 million copies.
There was a rumor regarding PC version of Ghost of Tsushima coming to Steam soon after a leak at third-party retail outlet. Meanwhile, a new job listing on Sucker Punch official website likely suggests a sequel is currently in works.
Sucker Punch recent job posting is looking for people to join in Senior and Technical Combat Designer positions. Applicants must have played Ghost of Tsushima and understands its core combat systems, hinting at a possible sequel.
Previously, Sucker Punch was looking for a Narrative Writer, who would love to write stories about Feudal Japan. That early job listing may have been a tease for Iki Island DLC expansion, included in Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut.
Sony usually allows PlayStation first-party studios enough time to develop upcoming new IPs and therefore, it's really tough to tell at which phase a potential Ghost of Tsushima sequel is now, or if there will even be a sequel after all.
