A year after Call of Duty: Modern Warfare reboot was released, developer Infinity Ward and publisher Activision launched Call of Duty: Warzone on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for all series fans as a standalone experience in 2020.

Activision has recently announced working on a mobile version of free-to-play battle royale game Call of Duty: Warzone through a new job posting on official website, inviting people to join any of their internal development studios.

Warzone dev team is aiming at a AAA mobile experience that would bring large-scale Call of Duty action to players worldwide. Activision has also hinted at plans to support their newest mobile title for at least more than a few years.

Earlier this year, Infinity Ward confirms working on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare sequel and brand-new Warzone experience. Upcoming chapter of Warzone is built from ground up using an all-new engine to combat in-game cheaters.

Activision is currently looking for employees in engineering, design, art, marketing and other open positions to work on Warzone mobile project at Beenox, Demonware, Digital Legends, Solid State Studios and various internal studios.

Call of Duty: Mobile free-to-play title is already available on Android and iOS, making a history of having 148 million downloads at launch. It also generated almost $54 million in revenue on its first month of release and $10 billion in 2020.
