Announced during PlayStation State of Play event back in February 2021, upcoming indie beat 'em up action game Sifu from developer/publisher Sloclap is coming soon on PC via Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles very shortly.
Although originally scheduled to launch on February 8, 2022, players who pre-ordered Deluxe Edition of Sifu were promised a 48-hours Early Access before release but unfortunately, people are reportedly having issues with the download.
Owners of Deluxe Edition were supposed to start playing Sifu on February 6, 2022, yet many of them couldn't download it from PlayStation Store since pre-load was unavailable on consoles for unknown reasons, even if you pre-purchased.
Sloclap begins to investigate the issue after players were asking for a solution this morning on social media en masse. Sony is also looking into this matter at the time of writing, which could be a technical problem on their digital storefront.
Sloclap immediately took notice of Early Access issues for Sifu and addressed player-concerns on Twitter.
We are aware that there are issues preventing the download of Sifu through the early access on the PlayStation store, and are very sorry for the inconvenience. We're looking into it with PlayStation to fix it asap, and will update you on the situation very soon!

Digital Deluxe Edition usually offers incentives like pre-launch Early Access for games and so, it is bit of a mess for PlayStation Store. Sloclap has also promised to resolve this issue quickly and will compensate fans who bought Deluxe Edition.
PlayStation players who pre-ordered Sifu Deluxe Edition to play it early are surely disappointed and for valid reasons, of course. In the middle of work week, people lost hours of free playtime other than spending an extra $10 for Early Access.
