When entirety of Red Dead Online player-community was busy calling out developer/publisher Rockstar Games for lack of content, their parent company Take-Two Interactive has seemingly teased a release window for Grand Theft Auto VI.
After years of rumors by many industry insiders, Rockstar Games finally announces next game in Grand Theft Auto franchise is currently under development and also revealed a release date for Grand Theft Auto V next-gen console version.
In a recent Newswire article at official website, Rockstar admits working on newest installment of GTA series after long. Despite many rumors, people always had doubts about GTA 6 because of immense success of GTA 5 across generations.
However, Rockstar Games didn't explicitly mention whether their next GTA game is a numbered sequel to GTA V or a new game. Whatever they are doing right now, it could be months or even a year from now till they share any update at all.
Rockstar Games took Twitter to address GTA fans and confirms a new Grand Theft Auto game is in works.

Meanwhile, Rockstar will launch next-generation of GTA V for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on March 15, 2022. PS5 and XSX console version will run at 60 FPS in 4K resolution with texture improvements, ray-tracing support and lot more.
GTA 5 comes with a number of technical advancements for latest hardware like 3D audio, faster loading times and other features. A standalone version of GTA Online is coming on release and will be free for PS5 players for first three months.

Moreover, you can transfer GTA V story progress and GTA Online characters from PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version to PS5 and Series X. Players will be able to skip GTA 5 story to Online and newcomers gets instant access to Career Builder.
