Living up to the legacy of its 2015 predecessor, 2022 action role-playing survival horror game Dying Light 2: Stay Human from developer/publisher Techland is out now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
Two decades after the events of Dying Light, society has fallen into chaos of a new Dark Ages due to a zombie outbreak. When an urban European city is torn apart by conflict, protagonist Aiden Caldwell decides to fight for his friends.

| Combine Parkour and Combat |
Working for a small settlement in The City, Aiden uses his abilities to help fellow survivors and pursue truth. Using parkour abilities, players can traverse through cityscapes but can also use a grappling hook and paraglider for navigation.
Dying Light 2 gameplay is focused on melee-based combat but these weapons will degrade as you use them in a fight. Aiden wields crossbows, shotguns and spears as long-range weapons, some can be upgraded or used for craft parts.

A number of new zombies are introduced with some returning favorites; all are slow and weak during sunlight but hostile at night. If you are not in a safe zone after dark, be watchful of any nearby Howlers and stay away from Volatiles.
Aiden should carry around his UV lamp and stay away from GRE Anomalies, special areas with Revenants lurking around. These monstrosities prey at night, can revive the dead within their surroundings and will drop inhibitors for loot.

Techland releases an official accolades trailer to celebrate worldwide release of Dying Light 2: Stay Human.
DL2 open-world is much larger than original game and you can often take more than one way to reach any given objective. Players' actions will have a lasting effect on their surrounding and every choice has at least some consequences.
Dying Light 2 dev team promises that it will take around 500 hours to fully complete their open-world zombie game. Techland also promised to offer at least 5 years of post-launch support by adding new stories, locations and events later.
