After having a very successful year in 2021, Epic Games continues to offer weekly free games for PC platform on their digital distribution outlet Epic Games Store to surpass all-time record for concurrent peak player numbers this year.
For this week, Epic Store is giving away PC version of 2021 indie turn-based role-playing game Cris Tales from developer Dreams Uncorporated and publisher Modus Games to claim a copy up until March 3, 9:00 AM PDT/12:00 PM EDT.
To prevent a disastrous future, Crisbell must traverse through time to battle Empress of Time and her goblin army. As your friends also join by your side, face off enemy groups and decide your present-day actions to reshape tomorrow.
Run into past, present and future at once through a new perspective to get control over time and solve various puzzles in Cris Tales, which is inspired by classic JRPGs like Bravely Default, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI and Persona 5.
Cris Tales is replacing Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons today and will remain on EGS for a limited time. Epic Games has recently filed a trademark to reportedly create a "Megaverse", offering variety of digital items and service to its users.
Epic Games Store also confirms to offer Black Widow: Recharged, Centipede: Recharged and Epic Slayer Kit for free-to-play action role-playing game Dauntless, which becomes available to claim next week, starting from March 3, 2022.
