In less than a week, developer Naughty Dog and publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment will be releasing remastered versions of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and its standalone Uncharted: The Lost Legacy DLC expansion for PlayStation 5.
Details regarding a PC version will be revealed soon, which is already available for pre-order on Epic Games Store and Steam. Ahead of launch, Sony has confirmed that players will be able to carry their save files on PlayStation 4 over to PS5.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is available to purchase digitally and physically, priced $49.99 only. Those who own a copy of Uncharted 4, Uncharted: Lost Legacy or a digital bundle of them both can upgrade to PS5 version for $10.
People who have PS4 physical copies would require inserting original game discs into PS5 every time they want to download or play Uncharted Collection but PS4 game disc owners PS5 digital edition console won't be able eligible for upgrade.
PlayStation Plus subscribers who claimed a copy of Uncharted 4 as a monthly freebie won't be receiving a digital PS5 upgrade. However, you can transfer save data and Trophies to PS5 using PS Plus cloud storage and import game from PS4.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is scheduled to release for PlayStation 5 on January 28, 2022. A live-action Uncharted movie, featuring actor Tom Holland (Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man: Homecoming) is coming next month.
