A prequel to Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, 2022 action role-playing game Pokémon Legends: Arceus from developer Game Freak and publisher Nintendo in association with The Pokémon Company is arriving to Nintendo Switch soon.
Nintendo has been facing an ongoing issue regarding many of their anticipated games getting leaked for a while and over a week before official launch, copies of Pokémon Legends: Arceus has surfaced on many social media platforms.
After someone got their hands on a retail copy of Pokémon Legends: Arceus earlier, a number of in-game screenshots of Hisuian Professor talking to player characters to introduce starters, revealing images of a title screen and lot more.
Although fans can get a better look at gameplay before release, these leaks may also contain spoilers that Nintendo wants to protect and Twitter already removed lots of these leaks after receiving "a report from the copyright holder".
Pokémon games getting leaked online before street date and being sold early are becoming a norm these days. Those who want to stay away from any spoilers will be well-advised to mute all Pokémon-related words on Twitter for now.
Pokémon fan-community is particularly divided when it comes to leaks and some would wait patiently for their experience to be a surprise. Another group wants to get an advanced copy for content or just wait until the "Leak Season".
