Ever since 2018 launch, Epic Games employed a promotional tactics to offer free giveaways to attract more PC users on their digital distribution outlet Epic Games Store in a weekly schedule has seemingly worked quite well to this point.
Epic Store is offering PC version of 2019 third-person Mecha action shooter Daemon X Machina by developer Marvelous Inc. and publisher XSEED Games to claim right now and own forever up until February 3, 9:00 AM PDT/12:00 PM EDT.
After a cataclysmic Moonfall event, humanity is threatened by corrupt AIs and a group of pilots takes a final stand against these machines. Armed with customized Arsenal Mechs, players will enter battlefield to get into fast-paced action.
DXM allows you to get into Mech brawls on your own or join a group of up to four friends in co-operative multiplayer mode. Also try out Exploration Missions or play Versus mode, challenging people to compete in 1v1 or 2v2 fights online.
Hours before being announced, Daemon X Machina coming to Epic Games Store was leaked by French community site Dealabs user billbil-kun, which was eventually confirmed later that day by EGS as they revealed previous freebie title.
For next week, Epic Store will be giving away 2.5D platformer Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair by developer Playtonic Games and publisher Team 17, which will become available to claim for free on PC, starting from February 3, 2022.
