Earlier this month, developer/publisher CD Projekt Red has quietly rolled out their first update of this year for 2020 sci-fi action role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077 without making any major announcement across social media platforms.
CD Projekt Red previously stated that Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt next-gen console versions will arrive in Q1 2022. Though they didn't reveal a date, a leak on PlayStation Store could be hinting at its release very soon.
A newly updated key-art for Cyberpunk 2077 has been spotted on the backend of PlayStation Network recently. This could likely be a new cover image for PlayStation 5 version of CP 2077, which is likely to be confirmed in coming days.
Twitter account PlayStation Game Size looks up for file size and release dates of any upcoming PlayStation games, believes PS5 version may release between "mid-February to early-March", lining up with a release window given by CDPR.

After suffering a disastrous launch experience, CD Projekt rolled out numerous updates to fix Cyberpunk game. It eventually became one of the top-selling games on PC via Steam platform lately and received "Very Positive" user review.
Cyberpunk 2077 next-gen upgrades for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles were set to release back in 2021 but got delayed to 2022. Also, players who own current-gen versions will get free upgrade for new consoles as promised.
