World of Warcraft May Be Announced for Xbox Consoles

For more than a decade, massively multiplayer online role-playing game World of Warcraft by developer/publisher Blizzard Entertainment remains a genre defining MMORPG of all time on PC with a massive number of player-count.

To this date, WoW receives regular content updates and expansion packs that engages millions over the world. Lately, a new report claims that World of Warcraft: Complete Edition is coming to Xbox and is set to announce next month.

Originally shared in a now-deleted Reddit post, source code for official Xbox website has listed World of Warcraft: Complete Edition in "Upcoming" category and currently dated for December 9, 2021, according to ResetEra forum post.

Interestingly enough, The Game Awards 2021 event is also been set for December 9, same date of WoW: Complete Edition announcement. Since TGA is a platform to share new reveals, WoW may get a surprise reveal on Xbox consoles.

ResetEra community members are having mixed reactions regarding this recent leak amidst an ongoing lawsuit against Activision/Blizzard and are expecting backlash and negative response over a reveal at The Game Awards this year.

Activision/Blizzard has yet to make any announcement on World of Warcraft: Complete Edition for Xbox. However, they teased at new experiences for classic and modern WoW next year and may be trying to keep quiet until TGA event.
