343 Industries officially launches Halo Infinite Season 1 about a month ahead in celebration for 20th anniversary of Xbox event.

Only a month away from release, developer 343 Industries and publisher Xbox Game Studios announced to launch multiplayer mode of upcoming first-person military shooter Halo Infinite alongside campaign on December 8, 2021.
After an accidental leak on Xbox store hints at online component for is coming about a month early, Microsoft officially launches Halo Infinite multiplayer beta during celebration livestream event for 20th anniversary of Xbox recently.
On eve of multiplayer beta release, 343 Industries offers a glimpse at gameplay of Halo Infinite Season 1.
Players will get full access to all maps and unlock Season 1 Battle Pass content with progression carried over to campaign soon. Instead of a three month season, 343 Industries has decided to expand Infinite Season 1 until May 2, 2022.
Last weekend, users found several references to an early multiplayer release in source code of Xbox store page. Shortly afterwards, Microsoft has updated listing for Infinite and has changed it back to launch date of December 8, 2021.

Players have already experienced 4v4 Arena battles and Big Team Battle at technical preview back in September. 343 Industries has revealed earlier to shut down online services for legacy Halo games on Xbox 360 in January 2022.
Halo Infinite Season 1: Heroes of Reach is live now on Windows PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S platforms. Infinite free-to-play multiplayer will also be available on Xbox Cloud Gaming and multiple in-game events are coming soon.
