An early report in August 2021 claimed that PlayStation 2-era classic games from Grand Theft Auto series by developer/publisher Rockstar Games are reportedly in development at Rockstar Dundee, previously known as Ruffian Games.
Only a week after Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition listing has been spotted on Game Rating and Administration Committee of South Korea, a user finds new data that hints at an upcoming announcement coming soon.
A fan has recently discovered slots for Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City on backend data within latest update of Rockstar Games Launcher for PC platform and shared images on Twitter.
Rockstar Games Launcher update hints at Unreal Engine versions of Grand Theft Auto III, San Andreas and Vice City. Some further digging has eventually unveiled a series of achievements and screenshots are posted over social media.

Over at GTAForums, fan-community is theorizing that GTA trilogy may feature some additional content for remastered collection. Rockstar have reportedly remade these classic games with a mix of new and old graphics for new consoles.
Rockstar Games have joined trend of launching their own desktop application for digital games on PC back in 2019, with games like Bully, Grand Theft Auto III, San Andreas and Vice City, L.A. Noire and Max Payne 3, as well as a social hub.

Aside from long-rumored Grand Theft Auto trilogy remaster, a next-gen version of Grand Theft Auto V is currently at works. Although slated to release on November 11, 2021, GTA5 on newer generation of consoles is now delayed to 2022.
Grand Theft Auto Remastered Trilogy is allegedly coming to Google Stadia, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S platforms as well as mobile devices at some point in October or November this year.
