GTA Trilogy May Be Teasing Grand Theft Auto 6 Announcement

While fans are debating over visual upgrades of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition by developer/publisher Rockstar Games, some were vigilantly looking out for hidden references hinting at next Grand Theft Auto title.

Some fans are claiming that Rockstar has possibly slipped in a possible Easter egg to upcoming highly-anticipated mainline series entry Grand Theft Auto VI in recently revealed release date trailer for Grand Theft Auto: Remastered Trilogy.

Newly released trailer for long-rumored GTA trilogy bundle has a reference to GTA 6 around 40-second mark. There you can see Tommy Vercetti riding on a motorbike with a license plate that reads "Vice City" and followed by letters "ICSLV".

Although it may seem random at first, some fans iterate this as "Vice City Is Coming Soon" and decode "LV" as Roman numeral for 55. GTA trilogy trailer came out on October 22 and 55 could be a hint to December 16, which is 55 days after.

Now all of these may seem like some conspiracy theory to players who are not familiar to how sneaky Rockstar Games can get when it comes to hiding Easter eggs on plain sight, a collection of previous GTA VI rumors are shared on Twitter.

Some of these leaks and found references points to November 23 or December 16, 2021, to be official reveal date for Grand Theft Auto VI. Most of these rumors are claiming that Rockstar is going to release GTA 6 trailer by the end of 2021.

Twitter user NEWSLEAKSGTAS has posted a series of leaks regarding GTA 6 reveal from across social media.

Moreover, "Vice City Is Coming Soon" phrase seems to support previous reports of Grand Theft Auto 6 taking place on a modern-day Vice City, a Miami-inspired location for classic Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and spin-off title Vice City Stories.

All of these are still unverified rumors on Grand Theft Auto VI and should be taken as such, with a grain of salt. It's been eight years since the release of Grand Theft Auto V and fans are eagerly waiting for Rockstar Games to announce a sequel.
