Bloodborne Sequel Reportedly in Works at Bluepoint Games
A report claims that Bluepoint Games may possibly be developing a long-rumored remaster of Bloodborne and a sequel.

An announcement for PlayStation Studios acquiring Texas based developer Bluepoint Games has accidentally been leaked on social media by Sony Interactive Entertainment, earlier in June 2021 ahead of official reveal back in September.
Only a week after buyout, there are rumors floating around online that claims that Bluepoint is currently working on a sequel to PlayStation 4-exclusive Bloodborne and a remaster of original 2015 action role-playing game for PlayStation 5.
According to a claim by industry insider Colin Moriarty, Sony first-party studio Bluepoint Games is reportedly busy developing a long-rumored remastered version of Bloodborne and a follow-up sequel, exclusively for PS5 console hardware.
Even before it was announced during PlayStation Showcase 2021 event, Moriarty has revealed Marvel's Wolverine is in works. Though he has yet to verify these claims, industry analyst Millie Amand has recently nodded support to his claim.

Bluepoint previously worked on God of War Collection, Gravity Rush Remastered, Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection, Shadow of the Colossus as well as Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and most recently PS5 remake of Demon's Souls.
Following acquisition, Bluepoint president Marco Thrush stated in an interview that they plan to work on original content from now on. Bloodborne remaster was already near completion as he might have hinted at upcoming Bloodborne 2.
Although working on a remaster project may not be considered a new game, "making a ground-up sequel" is still original work. It would be really interesting to see how Sony convinces From Software to lend one of their beloved original IP.
Bloodborne is one of the most popular Soulsborne games developed by From Software for its brutal combat and gothic theme. Due to popularity among fans, there are recurring rumors of a potential remaster or sequel every other month.
