According to reports regarding a new patent leak for Nintendo Switch controller, a brand-new Nintendo Direct broadcast was expected to go live today and Nintendo eventually confirmed it on social media yesterday, confirming the claim.
Nintendo announces a number of upcoming anticipated projects coming to Switch this winter season during today's digital showcase, which was streamed live today on Twitch, Twitter and YouTube channels at 3:00 PM PDT/6:00 PM EDT.
A series of unannounced games for Switch has been revealed today a 40-minute long broadcast of Nintendo Direct.
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak | Expansion Pack
Kicking-off latest livestream, developer/publisher Capcom announces new paid DLC expansion for 2021 action role-playing game Monster Hunter Rise titled Sunbreak, which will include new maps and monsters, releasing in summer 2022.
Though no gameplay footage is shown yet, Sunbreak will feature a new storyline and new locals to explore around. Newest expansion teases a new monster type flying over an ominous castle, hinting new gameplay elements and quest rank.
Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars | Demo and Release Date
Following major success in Drakengard game series, game director has focused on a brand-new RPG card game Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars, in association with developer/publisher Square Enix, will be arriving on October 28, 2021.
Uniquely designed in tabletop-style and guided by a Game Master, Voice of Cards centers on a journey into mystery and struggles of defeating a rampaging dragon to save people, pre-orders are live now and a Switch demo is out on eShop.

Dying Light: Platinum Edition | Release Date
Originally debuted on seventh generation consoles, 2015 survival horror game Dying Light from developer Techland revealed its first handled gameplay in today's Nintendo Direct presentation, will be releasing for Switch on October 19, 2021.
Dying Light: Platinum Edition will be adding HD rumble, gyro aiming, motion controls, local and online co-op as well as touch-screen feature. It also includes all four DLC packs and a number of themed skin bundles for a definitive experience.
Triangle Strategy | Release Date
Originally revealed as Project Triangle Strategy during a Nintendo Direct broadcast in February 2021, developer Square Enix has made a lot of changes and improvements to upcoming tactical RPG for Switch by taking feedback from a demo.
Some of these adjustments include camera controls, dialogue review, difficulty setting and load times. Triangle Strategy is currently available for pre-order on Nintendo eShop and is scheduled to release for Switch consoles on March 4, 2022.
ActRaiser: Renaissance | Nintendo Switch
A revival for modern platforms, classic 1990 platformer and city-building simulator ActRaiser: Renaissance is a high-definition remaster from Square Enix adds new abilities, features, regions and maneuvers for a dynamic action experience.
Renaissance is out on Nintendo eShop now and offering pre-order bonus for purchasing before November 1, 2021. Dev team has redesigned a few stages while introducing features like auto-save, difficulty setting and toggle all soundtracks.
Super Mario Bros. Animated Film | Cast and Release Date
After a disastrous reception of Super Mario Bros. movie in 1993, Nintendo moved on from any attempts of live-action adaption until today, when Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto showed up announcing Super Mario Bros. animated movie.
Featuring a cast of Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, Keegan-Michael Key and Kevin Michael Richardson, animated Mario movie is co-produced by Illumination Entertainment for a theatrical premiere on December 21, 2022.
Splatoon 3 | Story Mode
Earlier in February, Nintendo revealed a first-look at upcoming third-person shooter Splatoon 3 and briefly shown single-player gameplay. Latest presentation highlights on story mode "Return of the Mammalians" and teases new mechanic.
Inklings are returning to a post-apocalyptic Splatlands region with new weapons and moves for 4v4 Turf Wars. A group of furry creatures are introduced to be featured in story campaign and much more will be showcased ahead of release.
Bayonetta 3 | Gameplay Trailer
A long-awaited gameplay reveal for upcoming action-adventure hack and slash game Bayonetta 3 by developer Platinum Games finally took place today, only a week after series creator Hideki Kamiya claiming to be ready for public showcase.
Confirming release on Switch next year, Bayonetta unleashes herself upon a group of Kaiju-like enemies in a wrecked metropolis. For latest series entry, titular heroine is sporting a new look while keeping her iconic Bullet Arts fighting style.
Showcasing gameplay for long-anticipated Bayonetta 3, confirmation of previously leaked Kirby and the Forgotten Land as well as a surprise reveal of Super Mario Bros. animated film was one of the biggest takeaways of latest Direct stream.
Nintendo has no plans to make an appearance at Tokyo Game Show 2021 and they didn't show anything back in June 2021 either. Today's presentation confirms a number of leaks and reports that came out early and fans couldn't be happier.
