Horizon Forbidden West Collector's Edition Announced

A long-anticipated release date for Horizon Forbidden West has just been announced earlier by developer Guerrilla Games and publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment, scheduled to release for PlayStation 4 and 5 on February 18, 2022.

Guerrilla Games also revealed that pre-order becomes available on September 2, 2021, which is globally live now. A detailed description of every other edition, pre-order bonuses and more are listed on PlayStation Store for Sony consoles.

Horizon Forbidden West: Digital Deluxe Edition comes bundled with base game, digital artbook, soundtracks, exclusive Photo Mode poses and face paint, in-game Resources Pack, Horizon Zero Dawn graphic novel "The Sunhawk" and more.

It offers Apex Clawstrider Machine Strike piece for in-game tabletop, Carja Behemoth Elite and Nora Thunder Elite special outfits. Digital Deluxe Edition gets you a Carja Behemoth Short Bow and Nora Thunder Sling, for a $79.99 price only.

Special Edition includes physical disc copy inside a steelbook case, voucher for soundtracks and a mini art book. Apparently, there is a $10 difference in Special Edition of Forbidden West price for PS4 and PS5 versions across various outlets.

Horizon Forbidden West: Collector's Edition adds everything from Digital Deluxe Edition as well as custom sculpted Aloy and Tremortusk statue, mini art book and steelbook display case, all of these special items for a hefty price of $199.99.

A heavily stacked Regalla Edition contains every item from Collector's Edition as well as art print cards, canvas map, replica focus and custom stand, Regalla-themed Aloy and Tremortusk statue in one limited package, retails for $259.99 only.

Players who pre-purchase any digital or physical edition from regional retailers will receive Nora Legacy Outfit and Spear for Aloy. You can redeem these in-game items at PlayStation Store and unlock them throughout HFW story progression.

Players who purchase Standard or Special Edition of Forbidden West for PS4 won't be receiving any free update for new console generation. Access to both PS4 and 5 versions requires you to get Collector's, Digital Deluxe or Regalla Edition.

Horizon Forbidden West offers dual entitlement feature for $79.99 worth Digital Deluxe Edition and more pricey editions only. In a recent statement, Guerrilla Games confirms having no plans to offer a separate upgrade path at this moment.
