God of War: Ragnarök Will Reportedly Be Showcased at PlayStation Event
Sony will reportedly reveal God of War: Ragnarök during next week's PlayStation Showcase 2021 digital event.

Back in June, developer Santa Monica Studio took social media to announce delay for upcoming highly-anticipated title God of War: Ragnarök from its original 2021release to yet to be revealed 2022 window for PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles.
A reputed leaker has claimed recently that GoW: Ragnarök will be making its first appearance at PlayStation Showcase 2021 digital event, shortly after Sony Interactive Entertainment officially confirmed to broadcast a livestream next week.
A year after Santa Monica has teased a sequel to 2018 reboot at PlayStation 5 Showcase Event, rumor mills are running in full steam now that a new digital showcase event gets announced by Sony and fans are expecting a look at Ragnarök.
An industry insider and XboxERA co-founder Shpeshal_Nick reports that God of War: Ragnarök is likely to show up during PlayStation Showcase 2021 but whether it will be a cinematic trailer or some gameplay footage is not yet confirmed.

Shpeshal_Nick has previously leaked Ghost of Tsushima: Iki Island expansion ahead of its reveal back in June 2021. Given his track record in leaking first-party PlayStation games, latest rumors on Ragnarök might actually be accurate after all.
Sony only revealed so far that they won't be discussing anything about PlayStation VR 2 headset at upcoming digital event. Possible highlights may include PS5 showcase of Grand Theft Auto V and a brand-new Horizon Forbidden West trailer.
Fans should note that "Ragnarök" is not yet an officially confirmed subtitle for upcoming God of War sequel. Although a text saying "Ragnarök is coming" was shown during 2020 reveal, Santa Monica could officially name it as "God of War 2".
There is no solid confirmation that God of War: Ragnarök will indeed be revealed next week on September 9, 2021. If they end up showing Ragnarök, its official subtitle will be confirmed and a slated launch date or window maybe announced.
