During official announcement earlier this month at PlayStation Showcase 2021 event, upcoming Alan Wake Remastered has been confirmed to release for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on October 5, 2021.
However, a newly leaked listing on Brazil Advisory Rating Board shows that remastered version of Alan Wake has received a rating for Nintendo Switch handheld console platform, which could be a cloud release like Control and Hitman III.
Advisory Rating Board of Brazil has given it a parental rating for 14-year old and beyond, similar to other confirmed platforms. All versions of Alan Wake Remastered have been listed on same day under its publisher company Epic Games.
Alan Wake originally made its debut back in 2010 for PC and Xbox 360 consoles, focused around titular novelist. During a vacation to small town of Bright Falls, his wife goes missing and various events from his latest novel starts happening.
After an accidental leak at Taiwanese retailer site Rakuten Taiwan, Alan Wake Remastered gets officially announced by developer Remedy Entertainment and series creator Sam Lake for next-generation of consoles, earlier this September.
Alan Wake Remastered comes bundled with base game and its two DLC story expansions, with improved 4K visuals and director commentary. Remedy is expected to reveal an official release date for upcoming Switch version quite soon.
