Saints Row Reboot Announced

A new game in known action-adventure franchise Saints Row was announced back in 2019 by publisher company THQ Nordic, which will reportedly be developed by Volition with no launch date or premise has been confirmed so far.

Earlier last week, Gamescom Opening Night Live 2021 host Geoff Keighley has teased a series reboot may be coming soon and today, Volition has officially revealed a brand-new trailer for upcoming Saints Row game at ONL stream.

Volition releases a new trailer introducing next entry in Saints Row series, character and story premise.

Instead of bringing back everyone's favorite Johnny Gat, Kinzie and Shaundi, Saints Row reboot features a new cast of Gen Z-era criminals. A new Boss character assembles Eli, Kevin and Nina into a gang to establish a "criminal empire".

Latest installment of Volition's open-world crime adventure is set in a new setting at American Southwest called Santo Ileso. Dev team claims that SR reboot will have the largest map in series history, with nine districts and two deserts.

Santo Ileso is largely a playground for rival gangs; Los Panteros, The Idols, and Marshall Defense Industries. However, newest Boss of 3rd Street Saints recruit three ex-members of these gangs as lieutenants and forms a new rival group.

Just like previous Saints Row titles, extensive customization options will be available for player-controlled Boss character. Engage in chaotic gunfights and high-speed chases while taking over enemy turfs and defeat those rival factions.

There is a wide-range of arsenal to go crazy on streets and vehicles ready to customize as you see fit. Moreover, you will have co-op support for two-player across current and last generation of consoles from start to finish with a friend.

Saints Row reboot is set to arrive for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on February 25, 2022. Windows PC version will be an Epic Games Store-exclusive at launch and may come to GOG and Steam in future.
