Although already available on Xbox Game Pass, it was claimed by known industry leaker Tom Henderson last week that 2016 first-person shooter Battlefield 1 from developer EA DICE and publisher Electronic Arts may become free soon.
Starting from today, Prime Gaming members are getting a free copy of Battlefield 1 on PC that can be redeemed via Origin until August 4, 2021. Once you sign in and get the code, it will be eligible to redeem anytime before August 20, 2021.
Prime members will only receive Standard Edition of Battlefield 1, which includes base game and no post-launch DLC content. Anyone interested to purchase additional story add-ons can get them separately through EA Origin launcher.
Those who have Amazon Prime subscription can also grab a copy until this limited time offer eventually expires. Moreover, there are a lot of exclusive in-game content, monthly free games, free Twitch membership and loads of other perks.
Whether or not you choose to continue Prime membership, Battlefield 1 will be yours to keep forever once claimed and redeemed. DICE and EA has partnered up with Amazon to promote their upcoming Battlefield 2042 shooter for 2021.
Based on World War II-era events, Battlefield V will become free on Prime Gaming from August 2 and will be up until October 1, 2021. Prime member will also get more free games and access to tons of exciting loot on select titles next month.
