Ahead of upcoming The Siege of Paris DLC expansion release, developer/publisher Ubisoft will be making a few gameplay changes to 2020 action role-playing game Assassin's Creed Valhalla, currently available across every major platform.
Ubisoft is launching next Title Update for AC Valhalla on July 27, 2021, which adds a number of improvements including level scaling options, a returning feature that was originally introduced back in 2018, through Assassin's Creed Odyssey.
In newest Title Update 1.3.0, players will be able to level up and so will everything else around them. Similar to AC Odyssey, level scaling function will make enemies, quests and surrounding regions scale up alongside your player character.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla players will be able to choose from five level of scaling in next update, coming soon. Ubisoft has also shared a screenshot of level scaling in-game menu on Twitter and even shed a bit of light on their key-differences.
When the feature is enabled, you can either play Default or go Heavy, which will match to your own level. Playing on Medium sets everything two levels below and Light takes a dunk of up to four levels down than a player's current position.
Needless to say, Nightmarish will be a tough challenge for anyone and is a punishing difficulty level to play on. Moreover, plans to finally bring in one-handed swords for Valhalla players have been teased by Ubisoft for new patch this month.
Latest title update for Assassin's Creed Valhalla will have a lot of new inclusions aside from level scaling options. Ubisoft is likely to share more details to these gameplay adjustments, bug fixes and other changes in a patch note when it is live.
Meanwhile, Assassin's Creed Valhalla players are looking forward to its second story expansion, The Siege of Paris DLC. In recent Ubisoft Forward stream, a summer launch window was hinted and Microsoft Store has seemingly leaked its date.
