Even before releasing 2020 action role-playing game Assassin's Creed Valhalla across all major platforms, developer/publisher Ubisoft teased their post-launch content roadmap way ahead of time and only shared them shortly before launch.
Last week, an accidental listing on Microsoft Store has leaked Siege of Paris DLC release date set for August 5, 2021. However, a recent press release regarding upcoming Sigrblot Season update reveals that scheduled date to be August 12, 2021.
AC Valhalla: The Siege of Paris DLC was given an overview during Ubisoft Forward stream at E3 2021. Players will be exploring brand-new region, receive abilities, fresh gear, fight new enemy types, get their hands on new weapons and more.
Given accounts of historical events, Siege of Paris centers on a Viking conflict of Francia, a post-Roman kingdom in Western Europe. As soon as Eivor and their clan finish celebration of Sigrblot Season, they will be heading towards city of Paris.
Ubisoft will be adding Infiltration Missions while bringing back Black Box quests, where Eivor is sent out to complete objectives with no rules. In the meantime, AC Valhalla dev team has been working on a second year of post-launch content.
Players who own Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Season Pass will get instant access to Siege of Paris DLC add-on at launch. Those who aren't interested in purchasing it for only $39.99 can still buy a copy of upcoming expansion for a price of $24.99.
