The Medium Coming to PlayStation 5

It took only a few days to recover full development and marketing cost of psychological horror game The Medium by developer/publisher Bloober Team following release, despite its platform exclusivity and launch on Xbox Game Pass.

Earlier this month, a leaked Mature 17+ rating on Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) has teased a PlayStation 5 version for The Medium, which has now been officially confirmed for a next-gen release on September 3, 2021.

The Medium is played on a third-person perspective and let players simultaneously explore two realms of reality as protagonist Marianne. Using her unique gifts, she walks into real and spirit worlds to solve puzzles and uncover secrets.

Built for next generation of console systems, The Medium features dual-reality gameplay and Bloober Team will be taking advantage of PlayStation 5 hardware and its DualSense controller to offer players a truly immersive experience.

The Medium: Two Worlds Special Launch Edition is coming to select locations and in Japan on holiday 2021, which will include 32-pages hardcover artbook, official soundtracks and exclusive steelbook along with The Medium base game.
