Despite not being able to live up to overwhelming fan-expectation, psychological horror game The Medium by developer/publisher Bloober Team received mixed to average reception from players on PC and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
A leaked rating of Mature 17+ for The Medium is seen on Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) featuring "Blood, Strong Language and Violence", which also includes PlayStation 5 as its release platform, as spotted by Gematsu lately.
Back in March 2012, Bloober Team has already announced a publishing partnership with Koch Media and may soon end up announcing official PS5 version of The Medium ahead of E3 2021 during Koch Primetime Gaming Stream event.
The Medium being revealed for PlayStation 5 console very soon at upcoming streaming event is highly likely as known parent company of Deep Silver won't be showcasing either of Dead Island 2, Metro 4, Saints Row or even TimeSplitters.
Earlier this year, Bloober Team teased working on a new project that is "another horror IP" and is teaming up with a "very famous publisher". Some reports suggest afterwards that they may be working on next entry of Silent Hill franchise.
The Medium probably has signed a timed-exclusivity deal with Microsoft Studios for six months, which comes to an end this July. Though possibly coming to PS5 very soon, fans will not be able to play The Medium on PlayStation 4 consoles.
