Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut Rated for PlayStation 4 and 5

One of the most acclaimed games of last year, PlayStation 4-exclusive action-adventure title Ghost of Tsushima from developer Sucker Punch Productions is rumored to have a PlayStation 5 sequel or a possible PC version release lately.

Today, a rating for Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut has been listed on Entertainment Software Ratings Board official website for PS4 and 5 consoles, which hints at an upcoming sequel-like standalone expansion titled Ghost of Ikishima.

A listing for Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut was spotted by Twitter user Nibellion at official ESRB website. It has a Mature 17+ rating for "Blood and Gore, Intense Violence", set to arrive on both PlayStation 4 and 5 console systems.

Director's Cut also mentions of "in-game purchases" on PS4 and "users interact" for cross-gen platforms. ESRB rating summery remains exactly same as Ghost of Tsushima PS4 version and there are no clues of any newly added content.

ESRB listing of "users interact" part probably refers to Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, a free co-op multiplayer mode. Only concerning part was "in-game purchases" section since Legends doesn't feature any type of micro-transactions after all.

Only other logical conclusion would be inclusion of newly rumored standalone DLC expansion Ghost of Ikishima. However, there is no way to confirm that until Sony or Sucker Punch makes an official announcement about it next month.

After industry insider Shpeshal_Nick claimed that Sucker Punch is working on an expansion type game last week, a domain name for Ghost of Ikishima was found registered online and it will redirect you to PlayStation's site for PS4 games.

These are all strong nod of Sucker Punch Productions being involved in rumored expansion or sequel to Ghost of Tsushima. Hopefully, protagonist Jin Sakai will return once again to set island of Ikishima free from invading forces of Mongol.
