Cyberpunk 2077 Returns to PlayStation Store

Only a week after release across all major platforms, 2020 open-world action role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077 from developer/publisher CD Projekt Red was removed from PlayStation Store due to its broken state on current-gen consoles.

Since then, CD Projekt is working hard on fixing bugs and glitches by delivering major patches to further stabilize CP2077. After six months of being delisted, Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on PS Store once again for purchase and download.

Even though Cyberpunk 2077 has been re-listed on PlayStation Store and in a better state than it was before, Sony advised player not to play CP2077 on a base PlayStation 4 console until CD Projekt makes further gameplay improvements.

Sony recommends everyone to go for PlayStation 4 Pro or PlayStation 5 version of Cyberpunk 2077 for best possible experience. CD Projekt also mentioned on social media that PS4 players may still come across some performance issues.

CDPR has relentlessly worked on improving Cyberpunk 2077 experience by releasing a number of hot-fixes and multiple patches since launch. Even after taking care of hundreds of bugs lately, performance on last-gen has much to improve.

Sony Interactive Entertainment ended up removing Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store last December and offered full refunds. Microsoft however, allowed digital purchase for CP2077 on their digital store with a warning for customers.

CD Projekt has apologized to players through an official statement later for not showing CP2077 gameplay footage on base consoles of last generation and should have focused more towards improving PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions.

CD Projekt Red saw a major stock drops worth billions following Cyberpunk 2077 buggy launch and faced multiple lawsuits but things may slowly get better from here on now that CP2077 has finally returned to PlayStation Store once again.
